UNFIT X took Valentine’s Day to another level.
Love was certainly in the air on Valentine’s Day, but more than just romantic gestures filled the atmosphere as runners from all walks of life gathered for an amazing evening raising funds for LIVIN. Hotel X and UNFIT RUNNING‘s partnership brought UNFIT XOXO to the community, a Valentine’s Day run that was all about ditching the candle-light dinners and doing something a little different. The event, which was a complete sell-out, saw participants eagerly snap up tickets during both the initial sale and second release, demonstrating a shared enthusiasm for the cause and a commitment to making a difference.
About LIVIN
At the heart of this Charity Run was a simple yet powerful concept: to bring people together for a run, a chat with a mate, or a moment of connection with a significant other. But beyond the physical activity, the event aimed to shine a light on an important cause, partnering with the incredible team at LIVIN to raise awareness about mental health and the importance of open dialogue. Through their work, LIVIN is breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health, reminding us all that #itaintweaktospeak. UNFITI XOXO raised $1200 for the organisation, and they couldn’t be more proud.
For the fortunate runners who secured a coveted ticket, the evening promised an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Kicking off at 6 pm at the vibrant Hotel X, participants gathered in the lobby, buzzing with anticipation for the adventure ahead. The route, spanning 0-3km along the picturesque Howard Smith Wharves, provided the perfect backdrop.
Following the run, participants were treated to post-run ice baths courtesy of Club Sota, offering a refreshing cooldown and a chance to rejuvenate. But the festivities didn’t end there. As the sun set, the rooftop pool transformed into an electrifying afterparty, complete with DJ tunes and the promise of a refreshing swim under the stars.
Upon arrival, runners were greeted with a complimentary drink, whether they opted for a crisp HOTEL XPA or a zesty love-bomb cocktail, ensuring that spirits remained high throughout the evening. And as if the experience wasn’t rewarding enough, participants also had the chance to win exciting raffle prizes, adding an extra element of excitement to an already unforgettable night.
