The Design
There’s no doubt about it, the designs that Range Brewing deliver time and time again, are the best. They’re innovative, unique and always pay homage to what the drink is all about. The HOTEL XPA design does exactly that. We wanted design to have a quirky retro flare, celebrating our electric pink brand colour, that illuminates the halls of Hotel X. Another key design feature of the Hotel is our iconic black and white tiled bathrooms, so we wanted to pay homage to this as well through the design. The HOTEL XPA is the ultimate fun, playful, and refreshing summer pale ale to cheers with friends by the pool.
Crafting a New Brew with a Local Flair
In a nod to the Valley’s thriving beverage scene, we joined forces with Range Brewing, a powerhouse name in the craft beer industry. The aim of this collaboration is simple: to create a unique and high-quality beer that truly represents the heart and soul of Fortitude Valley.
Range Brewing was founded in 2018 by childhood friends Gerard Martin and Matt McIver. They shared a deep passion for modern craft beer and, as it turns out, a shared dream of making it something bigger. Since its inception, Range Brewing has grown into a significant player with two locations, one in Newstead, Brisbane, and another in Abbotsford, Victoria. Their beers have found their way into thousands of fans’ fridges and boutique bottle stores across the nation, and now our hotel!
